LUGA Asbl reveals the 10 winners selected to design the ephemeral gardens that will be installed along the Alzette valley for the LUGA 2025 exhibition.

The 10 temporary landscapes will be installed along the Alzette valley under the exhibition theme of "making the invisible visible". The landscaping creations will promote the encounter between man and nature in an urban environment, make the most of fallow spaces, reveal the existing heritage and be part of a sustainable approach. These are the challenges that the winners will have to meet and present at the LUGA national exhibition, which will run from May to October 2025 in Luxembourg.

The selection of landscape architects from various European countries reflects the desire of the LUGA Asbl and the international selection committee, chaired by Pierre Schmitt, LUGA vice-president and Gerber Van Vliet, LUGA president, to encourage cultural diversity and varied perspectives within the framework of the exhibition. The selection committee was made up of numerous experts in the field of landscape design, including Maria Auböck, Austrian landscape architect, Monique Keller, Lausanne Jardins, Gilbert Fillinger, Art & jardins, Hanspeter Faas, BUGA Mannheim/Heilbronn, Christophe Gallois, MUDAM, Shaaf Milani-Nia, Head of the Urban Planning Department, City of Luxembourg, Sonja Fandel, Head of the Parks Department, City of Luxembourg, Josée Hansen, Ministry of Culture.
