Construction of a police station, a public parc and accomodations in Seraing.
(Project gathering 2 police stations located in Pairay and in Ougrée)

About

This project insert itself in the urban frame by two strong architecturale decisions : keeping the existing frontage and create a connexion between the Pairay street and the church place.

By keeping this frontage, the police station insert itself directly into the life of the neighborhood and respect its existing structure.

The project clearly divide the two requirements of the customer by creating an inside little street that separates the accomodations from the police station. This little street connect the Pairay street to the church place. An inside courtyard is made between the existing and the new frontage of the police station. At the back, a green space is proposed with the integration of solar panels on the old reinforced concrete structure.
