Archive and exhibition building

Built a dense, opaque and high street side of Nimy
An empty building framed by opaque Street Passages.
A sloping ground, 2 meters between the street and the street Nimy passages.
Inside the block, a set of shared walls and large brick facades.

Interior demolition of the annexes to enhance existing buildings and create an outdoor area of ​​quality.
A dialogue between the two buildings, connected physically, visually and symbolically.

Extension of the basement of the building street Nimy full depth of the yard to create a base archive. He established the link between all the functions provided by the above as from below.
The workshop and the stock is positioned parallel with independent access.
The top of the base becomes a court that defines the void and became a gathering space.
Both buildings are carried by the base, they interact and structure the court.
The front building houses the functions of exhibition and reception, the back building houses the various departments.
A new extension extends the exhibition building. It houses the multipurpose room and teaching room built the existing building with the court.
