Kindergarten the Squirrels

About: The edge of a wood, the ideal place to set up a kindergarten. Oriented towards the nature, the building offers children a healthy, fun and educational environment. The proposed architecture takes advantage of this environment by orienting the spaces towards this magical context. The building is developed on one level, sheltered under a large overhanging roof. The roof, by its influence and its straightforward shape, becomes an eye-catching element to the imagination as well as to the natural and built context to which it echoes.

Just as the forest flora develops in different stages, the project is organized into different strata;

The floor is treated in a direct relationship with the exterior by the chromatic continuity of its covering. The white walls refer to lightness and transparency. Finally, the wooden frame unfolds like a branch, creating spatial expansions and visual sequences.
