With a clear and strong purpose, the project proposes a landscape interpretation of the building by creating a meeting place between city and landscape.
The project is the expression of its historical context, its relation to the landscape and its public character. The volume creates an urban walk rising from the square to a viewpoint. The theme of the colonnade (peristyle) symbolically reinforces the public character of the building.

About

The project follows the morphology of the site and its transversal slope. An urban promenade connects the main accesses: the "town" entrance and de Expos parking. The building was conceived as a public place inside as well as outside. It meets the requirements of a business center but exceeds the programmatic scheme to offer flexibility of use on the scale of the urban territory. The roof offers in this way a remarkable place in the context and can be appropriated for activities such as concerts, an outdoor cinema, fun fair, flea markets, urban aperitifs, ...
