Grand Prix d'Architecture de Wallonie 2015

The Grand Prix d'Architecture de Wallonie aims to reward new or renewed architectural works, private or public, in various categories, which fit into their environment in a relevant manner. Their date of construction must be no more than six years ago.

The 2015 winners are :

- in the category Individual residence, the office Vers plus de bien-être for the project Maison Lathuy and AABE Bruno Erpicum for Boom,

- in the category Collective residence, the office Matador for the project Caserne, which also won the special prize ‘Rebuilt the city’,

- in the category Non-residential buildings, ARJM Architecture for the project of Marexhe’s pole –Herstal’s train station. Two mentions are attributed to the Atelier Pierre Hebbelinck et Pierre de Wit for Mons Mémorial Museum and to Label Architecture for Andenne’s cultural centre.

- in the category Architectural réalisations in public spaces or engineering structures, the office Vers plus de bien-être for the water tower. A mention is also attributed to the momentaneus association l’Escaut/V+ for the development of the left bank quaysides of the Sambre in Charleroi.

The heritage Prize is for Arcadus architect for the welcome centre for artists in residence in Froyennes.
