Call for proposals: Belgian Pavillon at Venice Architecture Biennale 2014

The Wallonia-Brussels Federation will occupy the Belgian Pavillon at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2014.
 
On this occasion, it launches this call for proposals which is open to all (architecture and other disciplines).
 
Fundamentals is the theme chosen by the Commissioner-General of the 2014's edition, Rem Koolhaas.

National pavilions are, in this context, invited to work on the theme Absorbing Modernity: 1914-2014.
 
To create consistency, collaborative work upstream of the exhibition is considered.
 
The Wallonia-Brussels Federation wants to work in this direction and to contribute this way to the dynamics of interaction wanted by Koolhaas.

The Biennale will open its doors on 5 June 2014 and will be open until 23 November 2014.
 
The deadline for submission of proposals is 20 May 2013.
