The youth hostel of Liège opens the doors of its brand-new annexe. It can now host 16 new beds, which increases the total capacity of the institution, that can now host 216 beds. The new rooms, adjustable, are more fitted to extended stays. The purchase of this house completes the main building, which already had many facilities, such as a bar, meeting rooms, an inner courtyard, a restaurant and a computer room equipped with wi-fi. This project fits into the « passive and ecological architecture » spirit. Indeed, the architects made great efforts regarding energy saving and the use of biological and ecological materials.
