Projects 2017: Save the dates!

Wallonia-Brussels Architectures has the pleasure to inform you of the next events that we organize to assure the visibility of our architects on the international stage!

WBA will present the exhibition V+ 2014-2015 at the Ecole nationale supérieure d'architecture of Nancy (France) from February 6th till March 24th 2017. This first monographic exhibition to be devoted to the architectural practice of V+ has been co-produced by the CIAUD, Bozar and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. It focuses on their 2014-2015 projects.

After Paris in 2015 and Geneva in 2016, the exhibition entrer: five architectures in Belgium, curated by Audrey Contesse, will be presented from February 24th till March 12th, 2017 within the framework of the first edition of the Festival of Architecture of Liège. It will be held in the building of the Génie Civil of the Val Benoit site. The opening will take place on February 23rd and will be followed by the inaugural conference by the architect Baumans-Deffet who are displayed in entrer:. On this occasion, WBA will organize a press trip.

The exhibition (Un)City – (Un)Real State of the (Un)Known created by WBA and designed by Cédric Libert and initially presented within the frame of the first Istanbul Design Biennial 2012 and to the Pavillon de l'Arsenal in Paris in 2013, will be held in Brussels at the Halles Saint-Gery from March 24th till May 21st 2017. Shaped as an imaginary territory, it brings together past, present and prospective projects.

Finally, the exhibition Inventories#2, curated by Xavier Lelion et Anne-Sophie Nottebaert, will begin its international tour and will make its first stop in London. It will be presented to The Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design of the London Metropolitan University from 6 till 28 April 2017. This exhibition, based on the eponymous publication, gathers 28 projects, developed through the medium of the comic strip, writing and photography.
