FEBRUARY

Wallonia-Brussels Architectures has formed a partnership with the Villa Noailles in Hyères (FR) which presents the exhibition Landskating from February 21st till March 20th 2016. The young photographer from Brussels Maxime Delvaux has undertaken a photographic commission and presents among others the skatepark project of Les Ursulines in Brussels designed by L'Escaut. Beyond the opening lecture on February 21st, Maxime Delvaux gives his point of view on the characteristics of his work in the section «Posts».

Besides, WBA gathers on its website the numerous articles published abroad on Belgian architects. Which is the case of BAUKUNST, to whom the famous Italian magazine Domus devotes an article in its February issue.

After a successful first season, the Across lecture series goes even further in 2016 with the introduction of a new succession of names. New Dutch-speaking and French-speaking architects are invited alternately in Anvers and in Liège to present their work and the context in which they practice it. The new season begins at the Singel on February 22nd at 8 PM with the lecture of Studio SNCDA, created in 2013 by Sara Noel Costa de Araujo and based in Brussels and Luxemburg.
