BOZAR Scénography Love Is Louder

About: The Love is Louder exhibition at Bozar explores love, from its most intimate expressions to its most social strata. Our scenographic proposal takes as its starting point the Summer of Love in 1967, when thousands of young people gathered around San Francisco, filling parks and gardens with tents and teepees. Thanks to these spontaneous shelters, romantic love, which was by then a social phenomenon, was able to rediscover the conditions of its most immediate existence. At Bozar, a series of stretched canvases run through the exhibition, hung opportunistically on the architectural elements. At selected moments, they create zones of intimacy within the exhibition space, evoking the permeability of love from the romantic to the political.
