- Programme
Group of 7 individual social housing units
- About
The project consists in the construction of houses regrouped in two ensembles which participate to the creation of a new built front. The shape of the two buildings is meant to preserve the residential fabric of the area using a geometrical approach that articulates a series of offsets of each housing unit following the alignment of the street. On the top, each roof side is allocated to a house expressing both the individuality of the housings and their belonging to a global composition.
The conception of the different housings is part of a reinterpretation of the «Cité Jardin» characterized by an important interaction between inside and outside. Considering our will to preserve the existing trees along the street, each house is articulated between a front contemplative garden and a more ample back garden.
Furthermore, roof sides have been vegetalized which brings a particular value to the global composition. It contributes to a real interaction between architectural object and landscape design.
