Make it Rain at Venice Architecture Biennale
Exhibition
© WBA In addition to the Belgian pavilion, which is traditionally occupied alternately by Flanders (Building Biosphere - 2025) and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation («In vivo» Bento et Vinciane Despret - 2023), the Venice Architecture Biennale also offers other opportunities for our architects to showcase their work.
The 19th Venice International Architecture Biennale, entitled ‘Intelligens. Natural. Artificial. Collective’ gives us an opportunity to ask questions and propose sustainable architectural solutions that are adapted to new conditions and climatic hazards.
Don't miss the opportunity to discover the Make it Rain project in the French Pavilion, whose theme is ‘Living with’.
The Make it Rain project proposes ephemeral low-tech solutions in terracotta to combat heat islands. The principle is based on evaporation, an ancient technique familiar to cities that have always worked on issues of heat and comfort.
With the support of Wallonie-Bruxelles International.
