Belgian photographer Alain Janssens appointed curator of the Biennial of Photography and the city of Sedan 2025

The Biennale de la Photographie et de la Ville de Sedan returns this year with an ambitious programme, under the watchful eye of a leading name in contemporary photography. Belgian photographer Alain Janssens has been officially appointed curator of the 2025 edition, to be held from 15 June to 27 July 2025.

Created to showcase photography in all its forms, every two years the Sedan Photography Biennial takes over various heritage, urban and natural sites in the region. It has established itself as a key artistic event in the Grand Est region, encouraging encounters between artists, the public and professionals.
