Olivier Fourneau and Agwa finalists for the BigMat International Architecture Award 2025

The 7th edition of the BigMat International Architecture Award has revealed the list of finalist projects that will compete this coming November in Warsaw for the two Grand Prizes: the Grand Prize for Proximity Architecture and the BigMat Grand Prize for Architecture (each worth €30,000), as well as for the national awards.

This year, nearly 700 entries from seven European countries (Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, and Spain) were reviewed. 

Two belgian projects among the finalists

Belgium once again confirms the vitality of its architectural scene, with two projects selected among the finalists:

• Charleroi Palais des Expo – jan de vylder inge vinck & AgwA
• Kurth (Liège) – Olivier Fourneau Architects

The official award ceremony will take place in Warsaw in November 2025.
