Held every two years since 2004, the Brick Award, organized by Wienerberger, celebrates brick and ceramic materials as timeless elements serving innovative and forward-looking architecture.

Recognized as an international showcase, the award highlights outstanding architectural achievements across five categories: Feeling at Home (single-family houses), Living Together (residential developments), Working Together (commercial and industrial buildings), Sharing Public Spaces (public buildings and spaces), and Building Outside the Box (innovation).

This year’s shortlist reflects remarkable geographic and typological diversity: 50 projects from 21 countries across five continents were selected from 849 submissions.

Among them, Olivier Fourneau Architects stands out in the Feeling at Home category with the Kurth Residence in Liège — a project that exemplifies the firm’s ability to harmonize materiality, context, and architectural precision.

The Brick Award 2026 winners will be revealed during the official ceremony in Vienna on June 11, 2026.
