For the second consecutive year, Kultur | lx – Luxembourg Arts Council is awarding a grant designed to support the transition from concept to prototype.

A project centred on circularity: Passstücke

Among the projects selected for the 2026 edition, Sara Noel Costa de Araujo’s proposal stands out for its thoughtful and committed exploration of how to conceive architecture within a context of ecological and social transformation.

Over the coming year, Sara Noel Costa de Araujo will develop Passstücke, a project that reimagines architecture as a living environment grounded in circularity and the rational use of resources.

This grant builds on a trajectory already marked by strong positions on dwelling. In 2021, she designed the Luxembourg Pavilion for the Venice Architecture Biennale with the project Homes for Luxembourg, envisioning a nomadic and modular housing system.

With Passstücke, she continues this line of research, anchoring it more firmly in questions of cycles and circularity.
