Urban Legend: OUEST architecture in academic residence in Bergen

In January 2026, OUEST architecture inaugurated the Urban Legend master studio at the Bergen Architecture School (BAS) in Bergen.

Conceived as a research- and project-based studio, the programme invites students to explore the narratives that shape the contemporary city, at the intersection of built conditions, collective imaginaries and processes of urban transformation.

The semester opened with a kick-off session at BAS, laying the initial conceptual and methodological foundations of the work. It will continue with a study trip to Brussels, selected as a field of investigation for its urban complexity and the diversity of its architectural situations.

By combining teaching, immersion and research through design, Urban Legend extends OUEST architecture’s long-standing commitment to academia and contributes to the development of international exchanges between pedagogy and contemporary urban practices.
