- Project
Moxhe Village Hall
- Architect
fp architectes srl
- Programme
The project involves the construction of a new multipurpose hall intended to replace the existing one located on the ‘La Grange’ site in Moxhe
- About
The former building had become outdated and no longer met the needs of local residents. This new village hall was therefore conceived as a welcoming and unifying place, with the ambition of revitalising the heart of the village.
The new building is distinguished by its sloping roof and bright red brick, giving it a strong and contemporary identity. A pattern of brickwork, alternating vertically and horizontally laid bricks, brings depth, texture and movement to the façades.
Designed to be fully versatile, the building can host cultural events as well as private or community activities. The main hall is flexible and can be divided into two separate spaces thanks to a movable partition. Large glazed openings can be fully opened, allowing the interior spaces to extend naturally outdoors.
