In June, the spotlight is on BAUKUNST.
As the Brussels-based practice takes part in the 2026 UIA World Congress of Architects in Barcelona, we invite you to (re)discover an office that has been exploring the relationships between architecture, structure and building culture since its founding by Adrien Verschuere.
Through design, research and teaching, BAUKUNST develops an approach in which building is as much about transforming matter as it is about questioning the systems that produce it. A body of work that resonates strongly with today's international debates on circularity, adaptive reuse and the transformation of existing buildings.
