Morales Finch

Description

Morales Finch is an architectural practice founded by Emilie Morales and Tom Finch in 2015.

Founded in London, the studio is now located in Brussels, where it continues to be involved in a wide range of projects, primarily in Belgium and the U.K. Our primary focus is in the adaptation and re-use of existing buildings, through which we aim to provide robust, thoughful solutions intended for everyday use and enjoyment.

The practice has recently been selected as part of the Architecture Foundation’s New Architects 5 publication (Summer 2026) that presents the work of the UK’s best new architects.

Emilie Morales (1983) graduated in architecture at the Faculty of architecture La Cambre Horta ULB in 2007, and now teaches at the same faculty, in addition to sitting on the contact group of the FNRS/FRS (Fund for Scientific Research) - ‘InPractice’, as well as being a visiting critic at several other Belgian architectural schools.

Tom Finch (1983) graduated in architecture at University College London (2008), and has since lectured on the work of the practice internationally, and acted as a visiting critic at a number of U.K and Belgian architectural schools.

Current projects on site include a residential refurbishment for an art handler in London and the conversion of a light industrial building into a family dwelling in Brussels.

Projects in development include a self-build family home for a pair of artists in London and a residential refurbishment in Brussels.
