Aurélie Hachez Architecte

Description
Aurélie HACHEZ (1983) studied at ISA St. Luc and ISACF La Cambre in Brussels where she was graduated in 2008. She founded AHA in April 2012 and since then her practice has focused on designing projects at different scales such as furniture, interior renovation or new spaces construction. Her projects are fed by a sensitive approach to site that pushes her to take advantage of different contexts to build her thinking. Her attention is constantly given to the spatial experimentation, the concern of proportion, the light, the respect of existing material. Her work on projects is calibrated?? and is formalized by defining details, objects, and combination of materials used by appropriate construction techniques. These choices lead to unity of each project and gives them character and identity.
AHA is also interested in larger urban and architectural projects scale. She is involved in a collaborative approach that led her to work with artists, artisans and other architects, and to participate in international juries and competitions.
