WBA will be present at the MIPIM: the AWEX stand is the place to be between 3 and 5 p.m. on Thursday, the 8th of March, where we will be showcasing recent projects by architects from Brussels and Wallonia who have signed up for the fair.
One project from Wallonia and two from Brussels have been nominated for the Mipim Awards 2012. More information here. Here you can vote online for the People's Choice Award.WBA will focus on 9 projects of 9 offices. The offices are Architectes Associés, Art&Build,the Atelier d'Architecture Nicola Prebenna sprl, the Atelier de l'Arbre d'Or sa, the Bureau d'Architectes Emmanuel Bouffioux sprl, BURO II & ARCHI+I, CLERBAUX PINON architects, DDS&PARTNERS Architects and Frederic Haesevoets Architecture SPRL.Moreover other offices will be there: ALTIPLAN°architects, AUPa sprl, CERAU Architects Partners, MDW Architecture,Olivier Dwek Architecture + Partners sc sprluand UrbanPlatform.

Twelve years after their first participation at the event, the Walloon Region and the AWEX are also furthering their efforts to attract the attention of the international property community to the real estate projects and potential back home and to nurture business relations.The Brussels-Capital Region is making the most of the MIPIM to present Brussels and its assets to the promoters and operators present. Since 2010, Brussels Invest & Export, in cooperation with the ABE (Agence bruxelloise pour l’Entreprise), has been working together to offer a platform for discussion to Brussels-based companies eager to meet these professionals.
