© N. Regusci The Faculty of Architecture of the University of Liège, in partnership with Noshaq and with the support of Wallonie-Bruxelles Architectures, will host the exhibition “Cities Connection Project 07 – Architecture in Transition” from 7 to 16 May 2026.
The opening event, accompanied by an inaugural lecture, will take place on 7 May at the heart of the District Cathédrale Nord.
About
Cities Connection Project (CCP) acts as a link between European cities and their contemporary architectural production. Its objective is to create synergies between architects, cultural institutions, public authorities and universities.
The exhibition presents twenty recent urban projects drawn from a range of programmes — housing, schools, cultural centres, public spaces and green areas — for each of the regions highlighted in this edition: the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Catalonia, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg / Grand Est.

- Amadeu Santacana – Nug arquitectes (Barcelona): An architect and studio professor at ETSAV-UPC, Amadeu Santacana is known for his integrative approach, combining professional practice, teaching, and theoretical research. As an editor, he has been recognized for his contribution to the dissemination of architectural discourse, notably through collaborations with the publications Quaderns d’Arquitectura i Urbanisme and Diagonal.
- Label Architecture (Brussels): Label Architecture’s methodology is deeply critical. It involves a thorough examination of collected information in order to identify all underlying issues, beyond what has been explicitly stated. Graduates of ISA La Cambre in Brussels, Jean-Didier Bergilez (1974), Michel Lefèvre (1978), and Thibaut Rome (1977) founded their practice in October 2004. In 2009, they were joined by Christophe Pham (1979), a graduate of ISA Saint-Luc Brussels, and in 2022 by Andreas Vanysacker (1993), from KU Leuven.
Laurent Burton – Noshaq (Liège): With a background in the cultural sector, Laurent Burton first became involved in politics before directing his expertise toward the strategic support of innovative projects. For nearly twenty years, he has been active at the heart of economic development and the cultural and creative industries in Wallonia. He focuses on structuring and strengthening entrepreneurial, digital, and cultural ecosystems by fostering synergies between talent, capital, and territories. He is also the CEO of LeanSquare, an investment fund dedicated to startups in the field of digital creativity.
