Archdaily Building of the Year Awards 2026: several FWB offices nominated

© ArchDaily Each year at the beginning of January, the ArchDaily Building of the Year Awards invite the international architecture community to recognise the most outstanding projects of the past year. For this 17th edition, ArchDaily’s readers once again form the jury, through an open, transparent and collective voting process.
More than 3 000 projects published on ArchDaily in 2025 are eligible. Over the coming weeks, this collective intelligence will narrow the field down to 15 winning projects, one per category, spanning a wide range of programmes: housing, culture, education, healthcare, public and landscape architecture, installations, religious architecture, offices, hospitality, and applied products.
How to vote
The nomination phase runs from 27 January to 10 February 2026. Each registered user may nominate one project per category, provided the project was first published between 1 January and 31 December 2025. At the end of this stage, the five most-nominated projects in each category will advance to the final selection.
The voting phase will then take place from 11 to 18 February 2026. Users will be able to vote for their favourite project among the finalists, with one vote per category.
The winners will be announced on 19 February 2026 on ArchDaily and will receive an official certificate.
