Carlo Menon: Lecture at TU WIen

Carlo Menon (The Bartlett London / Accattone), will give a lecture on 12 June at 6.30pm at the TU Wien. It is part of the ‘Armillary spheres2025’ series.

Armillary spheres are ‘models of the celestial globe constructed from rings and hoops representing the equator, the tropics and other celestial circles, and capable of rotating on their axis’. This series of lectures is intended as a window onto the sphere of university research, observing the different constellations drawn by doctoral theses on the architectural horizon.

The course aims to invite researchers who have already obtained a doctorate to present their thesis to an audience of doctoral students, providing a wide range of examples and case studies on the approach to thesis work in the field of architecture.
