The 40 finalists for the Mipim Awards 2025 were announced on Wednesday 29 January 2025. Mipim is the international property developers' market, and will be held in Cannes from 10 to 14 March.

On Thursday 13 March at 6.30pm, in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals, the ceremony will be held to reward the best projects in the following categories:

BEST HOSPITALITY, TOURISM AND LEISURE PROJECT

Harmony, La Garenne Colombes (France)

The transformation of a former industrial wasteland into a Campus, the future headquarters of ENGIE, illustrates Nexity's expertise in sustainable urban redevelopment.

This project is competing in the Best Workplace Experience category.

Polytoren, Zwijnaarde


Once a thriving chemical polymer production plant (1955-2012). Today, the site is being reborn as Polytoren, an innovative office centre that combines industrial heritage with a sustainable vision. Its modernised architecture retains the soul of the original building, enhanced by two elegant attics, a sculptural external staircase and a spectacular glass façade supported by a robust exoskeleton.

This project is competing in the Best Conversion Project category.

Egied van Broeckhovenschool, Brussels


In the multicultural neighbourhood of the West Station in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, the Egied Van Broeckhoven school has moved into the former bottling plant of the Vandenheuvel brewery. 

The project is competing in the Best Cultural, Sports and Education Project category.

The Hive, Amsterdam (Netherlands)


In the summer of 2022, ION and Green Real Estate (Zeeman family) won the tender to breathe new sustainable life into the former Calvijn College in Amsterdam's Nieuw-West district. The Belgian-Dutch alliance will start work on The Hive in May. This is a mixed-use project comprising 183 flats, a health centre, a community centre and a cultural centre where artists can live and work.

This project is competing in the Best New Development category.
