La Royale belge shortlisted for AHI Award

© WBA Architectural Heritage Intervention has just announced the shortlisted projects for the seventh edition of the European AHI Awards.
Among them are three Belgian projects:
- Royale Belge, Brussels, Belgium. Caruso St John Architects, Bovenbouw Architectuur, DDS+, MA2
- Het Steen, Antwerp, Belgium. noAarchitecten
- Share and reuse factory, Kortrijk, Belgium. ATAMA
The shortlisted entries in the four categories have been selected by the international jury from a total of 238 submitted projects, representing 24 European countries. The awards ceremony will take place in Barcelona on 5 June.
A total of 40 works (15 in the Built heritage category, 10 in the Exterior spaces category, 5 in the Urban planning category, and 10 in the Disclosure category) have been shortlisted by the members of the international jury of the European AHI – Architectural Heritage Intervention – Award. Organised in partnership with the Architects’ Association of Catalonia, this biennial Award aims to honour and showcase best practices in heritage intervention across Europe.
Shortlisted entries in the Built Heritage category
The jury for the Built heritage category, made up of the architects Meritxell Inaraja, Stefano Francesco Musso and Stijn Cools, has shortlisted the following entries from a total of 159 submitted projects:

Meanwhile, the jury for the Exterior spaces category, composed of the architects Michaela De Poli, Gentzane Goikuria and Fernando Menis, has shortlisted the following entries from a total of 41 submitted projects:
