Laboratoire at Venice Architecture Biennale

Laboratoire will contribute to the exhibition Time Space Existence 2025 organised by the European Cultural Centre as part of the Biennale di Venezia, which explores the theme Repair, Regenerate, and Reuse.

Laboratoire was founded by Florence Jacques, Morgan Delvaux, Maxime Faniel and Arnaud De Francesco in 2021 in Liège. They use architecture as a medium to address environmental, urban and social issues. Laboratoire places the notions of flexibility and reversibility at the heart of their research process, and works mainly on public commissions. In their view, ‘architecture has no single answer, but strives to provide holistic, “high-performance” and thoughtful responses that create the conditions necessary for a building to be appropriated and transformed.’
