The Make it Rain project will be presented at CODA

The Make it Rain project, presented at Concéntrico 2024 and recognized at the AJAC 2025 awards, will be on display from October 2 to 16 at the Col·legi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC), as part of the II Biennal d'Arquitectura Jove de Catalunya.

This collective exhibition brings together all the winning projects and showcases emerging practices in Catalan and international architecture.

A reflection on urban cooling

Designed for the Concéntrico 2024 festival in Logroño, Make it Rain explores the potential of bricks in contact with water to improve thermal comfort in urban environments. Installed in the courtyard of the La Rioja Museum, the installation combined a clay floor, shade cloth, storage wells, and watering cans made available to visitors, creating an adaptable and interactive space.
Beyond its ephemeral nature, the project is part of research into the contemporary uses of traditional materials and the reinterpretation of vernacular know-how.

Program

The exhibition will be accompanied by a series of round tables and discussions between the selected teams.

A workshop is scheduled for October 10 at 6:00 p.m.: with Make it Rain / Brasebin Terrisse alongside h3o, Atelier Bocamar, Metronom + Frederic Villagrasa, and Estruch Martorell.
