On Thursday, 27 November, the Association of ENSA Marseille Graduates and ENSA Marseille will host the second event in the Pratiques de l’existant series.

Exploring the existing as a resource and a project material

This series examines how architects work with pre-existing structures, traces and uses. Approached as a resource to be enhanced, a creative material or a design field in its own right, the existing opens new perspectives on the transformation and reuse of places.

For this second session, Stéphane Damsin, founder of the Brussels-based practice Ouest architecture, and Antoine Trémège, project leader, will present their approach to an architecture that pays close attention to the city — to its rhythms, its forms and what is already there.
