A229: CIME - Video by ArchiUrbain
Mister Emma meets Renaud Van Espen, architect (A229), and takes us to Uccle, at the back of Wolvendael Park, to discover a type 4 secondary school designed for children with a motor disability. With its central courtyard, the school forms a haven of peace and a source of well-being for pupils and teachers who can enjoy the beauty of the wood that covers the facades in harmony with its environment.
A project recently nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2022.
The video can be watched here.
A229 is also one of the offices featured in the Cities Connection Project exhibition, which will continue to tour internationally and will be on shown in Bordeaux and Vilnius in 2021.
