BAUKUNST: laureate in Lausanne

Baukunst and Bruther have been selected among 25 international teams as the winners of the competition by invitation for their new building dedicated to education and research on the prestigious premises of Lausanne’s Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale (EPFL).

Based at the interface between EPFL and the UNIL site, the project proposes a new approach to the educational environment – new study surroundings - ed with the spirit of the campus founded in 1970. This new infrastructure is on a par with other operations such as the Learning Center (SANAA) or the future headquarters of RTS (Office Kdgvs).

With its useful surface area of over 16,000 m², the building is planned for completion in 2023.
