CENTRAL: Lecture in Venice

CENTRAL office for architecture and urbanism, a Brussels-based practice founded in 2014 by Pierre BURQUEL, Radim LOUDA, Paul MOUCHET and Valentin PIRET, has been  invited by the Architecture University of Venice - IUAV to give a lecture on May 24th in the frame of the round table entitled CARNETS talks Coming of age.

This round table will close the exhibition CARNETS which presents a collection of testimonies of young European offices of architecture, fragments of life arranged as tools in a row, as in a herbarium, a list or a dictionary, an alive expression of a way of designing architecture. The result is a kind of journey diary which records and archives the observations of these experiences.

This event will coincide with the opening of the 16th Biennale of Architecture 2018 - Freespace and will try to illustrate the new scenarios imagined by European young graduates, to suggest new approaches of the world of the architecture and to reduce the disconnection between universities and professional world.

Reminder : CENTRAL will present its installation EUROPA on May 26th in the frame of the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale 2018, joint installation of Belgium, Spain and The Netherlands Pavilions. It will  echo EUROTOPIE presented by Traumnovelle and Roxane Le Grelle for 6 months in Pavilion of Belgium.
