EUmies Awards 2022 exhibition in Dublin
The exhibition of the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Awards 2022, which opened in Barcelona and has already toured Cologne, Brussels, Vienna, London, Ebeltoft, Mexico City and Guadalajara (Mexico), now has its final stop in Dublin.
This is another special occasion as the exhibition takes place in the city where the winners of the EUmies Awards 2022, Grafton Architects, have their studio. It is the first time that the exhibition travels to Dublin where 70 works have participated in the Prize since 1990.
The exhibition has been adapted to the unique spaces of the Printworks Event and Exhibition Centre, Dublin Castle, and presents models, videos, photographs and texts. This time it also shows the 2022 and the 2024 shortlisted works from Ireland and the works of Young Talent 2023 in which one of the winners was Laura Hurley from the School of Engineering and Architecture, SEFS of the University College Cork & Munster Technological University with the project “Peripheral Cartographies”.The occasion to (re)discover Baukunst project.
The opening will take place on January 17 which will also be the day of the announcement of the Eumies Awards 2024 shortlisted works. Stay tuned!
