Eva Le Roi: Conference at the École d'architecture Paris-Est
Eva Le Roi will inaugurate the new cycle of conferences at the École d'architecture de la ville & des territoires Paris-Est on Tuesday 14 March at 1pm with a talk entitled "Architectures, villes et paysages dessinés".
Through the exploration of themes specific to her approach, Éva Le Roi will present several drawn projects relating to the representation of the built environment, the city and the landscape. She will talk about the way she preserves an artisanal relationship to the practice of drawing, in the rigorous and diversified contexts of commissions in the field of architecture and urbanism.
Éva Le Roi is a drawing artist in Brussels. She explores the relationship between built structures and their environment through the specificities of manual drawing. She collaborates with numerous offices in the framework of the representation of urban projects or architectural competitions. She also contributes to institutional, cultural and editorial events, and teaches architectural representation at the UCLouvain, Faculty of Architecture (LOCI, Brussels).
This conference is part of the Tuesday Lessons cycle entitled "Production/reproduction, forms and mediation of the architectural imagination" and coordinated by the teaching team of the Representation field: Mariabruna Fabrizi, architect and editor (Socks), Guillaume Grall, graphic designer and editor (Building Books), Sandrine Marc, artist, photographer and graphic designer, and Giaime Meloni, researcher and photographer.
