JF Pirson at Volume bookstore in Paris

EXPLORATORY PRACTICES OF THE SPACE and meeting around the work of Jean-François Pirson.

Jean-François Pirson is an artist-pedagogue, initiated to dance, honorary professor at the Institut Supérieur d'Architecture Lambert Lombard (Liège), and expresses his relationship to space in various practices: text, drawing, photography, walking, installation, and workshops open to the plastic and kinesthetic experience of the other.

In particular, he has published, in La Lettre volée, Brussels, Entre le monde et soi, Pratiques exploratoires de l'espace (2008) ; La danse de l'arpenteur (2014) ; Entre là, Carnets d'Algérie (2015) ; D'être en montagne (2018). In 2011, the Architecture Unit of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation published the monograph Jean-François Pirson, Pédagogies de l'espace - workshops under the direction of Denis Gielen.
