Ney & Partners - three bridges, Hoorn (NL)
© Ney&Partners Ney & Partners designed three new bridges that will connect the historic Westfriese Omringdijk with the town beach of Hoorn from 2024 onwards. From the submissions, the municipality of Hoorn and the province of North Holland selected the design by architects and engineering firm Ney & Partners and gave their approval to the elaborated design.These are not bridges in the classical sense of the word, but bridges that can be seen as ‘Land Art’ with a strong connection to the landscape. The three bridges form a scenic route and engage with the monumental Westfriese Omringdijk.
