The jury of the design competition for the new pedestrian bridge between Poissy and Carrières-sous-Poissy unveiled Ney & Partners as winners. The new bridge will be built on the remains of the ‘Vieux Pont de Poissy’, whose history dates back to the 13th century and which was destroyed in 1944. The jury and the politician honoured ‘the architectural bias that highlights the specific historical characteristics of the site’. The project corresponds as well with their willingness to develop soft mobility links for pedestrians, cyclist and disabled persons as well as the eco mobility. The team, led by Ney and Partners, is completed by Strates Ouvrage d’Art, SCE and Atelier Roland Jeol.
