The New European Bauhaus Prize has announced the finalists for its 2021 design competition, which aims to find concepts to solve the world's most pressing problems.

The EUNIC project "IF - Social design for sustainable cities" in which the architectural trio Traumnovelle is among the 60 projects nominated for the prestigious European prize. As a reminder, at the invitation of the General Delegation Wallonia-Brussels in Warsaw, Traumnovelle had participated in this conference in October 2020. This joint initiative of the EUNIC Warsaw Cluster and the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw aimed to highlight ecological urbanism as well as the theme of sustainable cities and communities. It also aimed to promote pro-social urban planning, the role of culture in the creation of a common future, and the involvement of representatives of different backgrounds (educational, scientific, cultural and administrative) in the debate on the urban spaces of the future.

The winners of the award will be announced at a ceremony on September 16, 2021.
