Traumnovelle in Vilnius

As fossil fuels rarefy and EU governments prepare to face shortages reminiscent of the 1973 oil crisis, alternate forms of energy production are gaining traction.

In the framework of the “Politics of Space” symposium and exhibition, organised by Architektūros fondas, Traumnovelle presents a speculative project entitled “POWER”, will take place from September 29 to October 15 in the cultural complex SODAS 2123 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The POWER pact is a trans-national initiative aiming to produce unlimited energy. 

Amidst the EU’s dismantlement of nation-states in favour of local governance, the project investigates an alternative approach to off-centered mega-infrastructure, giving energy production infrastructure a symbolic and civic role for our civilisation.
