V+/Rotor: the MAD published in Domus

The famous Italian magazine Domus publishes an article dedicated to the MAD. Brussels Fashion and Design Platform is designed by the association of the Brussels-based architects from Vers plus de bien-être and the designers from Rotor.

 

Instead of demolishing the existing building, the team has chosen to enhance it. The volumes have been kept and embellished, the rare demolitions have been conducted with extreme preciseness. The interior finishes, in many shades of white, combine playfully a wide variety of materials, textures and eclectic patterns.

 

This project is also presented in the exhibition V+ Architecture documents on five projects and in the eponymous catalogue. Supported by WBA in its international tour, this first monographic exhibition to be devoted to the architectural practice V+ ohas been co-produced by A+ Architecture in Belgium, Bozar and the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. It focuses on five of their 2014-2015 projects.
