Venice Biennale of Architecture: the French speaking Belgian entries

Ahead of the publication of the call for proposals for the curatorship of the Belgian pavilion at the 18th Venice International Biennale of Architecture (2023), which will be launched on 1 March by the Cellule Architecture in partnership with Wallonia-Brussels International, the ICA presents a series of interviews conducted by Archi Urbain at the request of the Architecture Unit.

From Thursday 27 January 2022, the cellule.architecture, Wallonia-Brussels International and the ICA will broadcast a series of six videos on the caviar.archi platform, tracing the history of the French-speaking curatorship of the Belgian Pavilion at the Venice International Biennale of Architecture from 1996 to 2018.

27 January 2022: Traumnovelle and Roxane Le Grelle, curators of "Eurotopie", 2018 - video

3 February 2022: Bernard Dubois, Judith Wielander, Sarah Levy and Sébastien Martinez Barat, curators of "Intérieurs. Notes et Figures", 2014 - video

10 February 2022: Rotor DC, curator of "Usus/Usures", 2010 - video

17 February 2022: Label architecture and Véronique Patteeuw, curators of "La beauté de l’ordinaire", 2006 - video

24 February 2022: Maurizio Cohen, curator of "Les îles flottantes", 2002 - video

3 March 2022: Chantal Dassonville, curator of "Pierre Hebbelinck", 1996 - video

These videos will be broadcast at the rate of one per week on the caviar.archi Vimeo channel. You can activate the English subtitle option via the CC button in the player
