The launch of the book AHA In practice - a travelogue by Leeke Reinders will take place at the TU Delft on 28 November 2024.

For the fifth volume in the IN PRACTICE series, Aurélie Hachez, founder of AHA, and anthropologist Leeke Reinders explore three innovative projects: L'Ermitage in Brussels, the suburbs of Jubel and the countryside of Ulysse.

As well as analysing the design process and the appropriation of the projects by their inhabitants, the book examines the theoretical implications of the arrangement of objects in AHA's work, the everyday ethics of strategic working, and the way in which buildings are represented as entities with their own histories.

The In Practice series explores the multiple ways in which architects can engage their professional practice with academic research and vice versa. IN PRACTICE seeks to open up a space for architectural practice in research through the development of methodologies, conferences, publications and studios.

The inter-university research group In Practice is a joint initiative of the architecture faculties of ULiège, KU Leuven, ULB, U Antwerpen and UCLouvain..
