Maxime Delvaux in Sydney

In the spring of 2023, Maxime Delvaux's work was presented for the first time in Australia. His photographs were shown alongside those of Australian architectural photographer Rory Gardiner in an exhibition at the Tin Shed Gallery in Sidney. The combination of the two photographers brought out different nuances in the way they each represent our built environment and collaborate with architects. 

Following the success of the exhibition, the curators have decided to produce a publication containing twice as many photographs by the two authors, offering a broader overview of their work. These images are accompanied by texts situating Maxime Delvaux and Rory Gardiner in a wider context. 

The publication, entitled Analogue images, will be presented in Sydney on 20 February 2025 at BTWNLNS. Maxime Delvaux has also been invited to present his work at a public lecture at the University of Sydney on 27 February 2025.
