The CAUE du Nord and WBA invite Belgian architecture to an exhibition in Lille.

After a first installation in Brussels, and before moving on to Paris and Lyon, exhibition 4836 m² - Wallonie-Bruxelles Architectures Inventaires # 1 Inventories  is stopping off from the 2nd to the 20th of October 2014 at the CAUE du Nord (the Conseil d’Architecture, d’urbanisme et de l’environnement du Nord).

Twelve photographs taken from the book Architectures Wallonie-Bruxelles Inventaires #1 Inventories created by the Architecture Unit of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation and WBA are reproduced in the exhibition and printed on 4,836 m² of posters that can be taken away. Copies of the book are available to be consulted on site.

After the opening of the exhibition on Wednesday, the 8th of October at 6 p.m., a round table will be held with Belgian and French architects on the theme of “Representation of architecture, instrument of thought and communication” at 7 p.m.

The round table will question the nature of the links and relationships that architecture, the user and society need to develop around the project and its representation.

This will be an opportunity for WBA and the CAUE du Nord to examine the role played by contemporary architecture produced in the same cultural space of North West Europe in the art of revitalizing communities.
