L'Escaut Architectures: Inauguration of projects in France

© François Lichtlé
The office L'Escaut Architectures inaugurates the project Le Cellier in Reims on April 4th. It consists of the redevelopment of the Jacquart building in Cultural Pole - Reims - in association with Tandem+.

The rehabilitation of this old champagne house, the former "Jacquart cellars", into a cultural pole aims to vastly transformate the building to adapt it to its new functions and its new public status while making the most of the strenghts of the place: its singular spaces such as the cellars or the wide room, its raw materials, its architectural heterogeneity.

They are also working on the shared equipment Nantes Conservatory & Pole of Higher Learning Performing Arts Bretagne-Pays de la Loire - in association with Raum.

L'Escaut writes about it's French experience in the carte blanche Exporting poetry.
