Pierre Hebbelinck beyond Belgium
Pierre Hebbelinck beyond Belgium
The news from L’Atelier d’Architecture Pierre Hebbelinck are resolutely French...

Switch from industrialist to culturist with the Halles Perret in Montataire inaugurated last April; new skin for the Espace des Arts in Chalon-sur-Saône; restructuring the Palais Guimet and building a Maison de la Danse in Lyon; transforming and extending the Théo Argence theatre in Lyon; the Belgian-French duo l'Atelier d'Architecture Pierre Hebbelinck and HBAAT seduces France.

But not only…

Fruit of a four years’ work, Lifting the Curtain/Lever le rideau, published by Fourre-Tout Editions, was presented at the Pavillion of Belgium at the last edition of the Venice Biennale of Architecture. It offers a never-seen-before view of the development and role of architecture networks in this Eastern half of Europe, twenty-five years after the fall of the Iron Curtain.
