Lecture: Martiat+Durnez in Nantes
Ce que habiter veut dire

© WBA As part of the Ce qu'habiter veut dire exhibition, the Maison de l'architecture des Pays de la Loire, in partnership with the Institut culturel d'architecture Wallonie-Bruxelles (ICA), is organising a meeting on 5 May at 6.30pm.
Martiat+Durnez architectural practice will be on hand to present its work entitled (E)autrement. In response to the ICA's question ‘How else can we live with water?’, the two architects will review the building where they live, on Place Cockerill in Liège.
This will be followed by a discussion with Clara Bernay, a member of the Risques Majeurs association, who helped write the CERPI technical guide "Le bâtiment face à l'inondation".
This event is co-produced by the Institut Culturel d'Architecture Wallonie-Bruxelles and the Maison de l'architecture, with the support of Wallonie-Bruxelles Architectures, the Conseil régional de l'ordre des architectes and the private partners of the Maison de l'architecture.
