Programme

Healthcare hub project comprising 22 apartments and 5 multipurpose spaces

About

The healthcare hub project, integrating 22 apartments and 5 multipurpose spaces, is part of a public–private partnership strategy aimed at revitalizing the neighborhood through the creation of genuine functional diversity. The objective is to design a unifying building that brings together residential uses, healthcare services, and community spaces.

Our approach seeks to structure the street frontage while opening it generously to the public realm. Rather than presenting an opaque barrier, the building unfolds through a play of transparency and visual permeability, inviting discovery and interaction. A deliberately marked break at the heart of the project creates a through-passage—a true connective element between the front and rear—leading to a welcoming outdoor space.

The careful site layout encourages the creation of high-quality outdoor spaces where users can meet and interact. The building massing plays with variations in height and setbacks to integrate respectfully into the surrounding built context. Architectural lines engage in dialogue with neighboring structures while clearly asserting the project’s own identity.

The façade color palette draws inspiration from the stained-glass windows of the former chapel that once occupied the site. These subtle hues, applied in planar compositions, recall the site’s history while bringing a contemporary and luminous character to the ensemble. This reference to the neighborhood’s memory weaves a sensitive link between past and present, reaffirming the cultural and social continuity of the site.
